We've heard your pleas for extra help with your pitch, and we've devised a brand-new PRIVATE PITCH COACHING opportunity for you!
Hopefully you already know about the two opportunities you have to learn about pitching--
1) Write Brain Session Tuesday April 21st
2) Pre-conference workshop Thursday April 23rd
And hopefully you've heard about our new "Speed Pitch" practice sessions during the afternoon of Friday April 24th at PPWC.
But what do you do in between the lecture and the practice? How do you put all the information together in a coherent form? How do you know if your log line is any good? How do you prepare for questions an editor or agent might ask?
Well, how about a one-on-one meeting with an experienced pitcher who can help you brainstorm, strategize, hone your log line and figure out what you want to say in your pitch...?
WE HAVE THAT!
Right now there are over a dozen "coaches" standing by to help you with your pitches. For a $30 donation to the PPWC general fund, you'll receive a half-hour one-on-one session with a coach, as well as a receipt for donating to a non-profit organization.
These are the times we have available for appointments:
4/21 evening, immediately following the Write Brain (at Cottonwood Artists' School)
4/22 morning, afternoon, evening (place TBD)
4/23 morning or afternoon (place TBD)
4/23 evening, immediately following the pitch lecture (at the Marriott
- PPWC)
4/24 morning (at the Marriott - PPWC)
If you'd like an appointment, please contact me with the following
information:
NAME
PHONE NUMBER
EMAIL ADDRESS
GENRE (of piece you'll be working on with the coach)
DATE(S) AND TIMEFRAME(S) OF DESIRED APPOINTMENT

DO YOU THINK YOU'LL NEED MORE THAN A HALF HOUR WITH A COACH?
We'll give you a price break for a second half-hour with the same coach--only $50 for one hour. Please specify when you send me your appointment information if you'd like a half hour or a full hour appointment.
