Q: What is the Green Me button all about?
A: We started a program in 2008 called "Green Me" which allows members, supporters and visitors to Pikes Peak Writers to opt in to an electronic communications program for a number of key documents which had historically been delivered in hard copy via regular (snail) mail.
The opt-in process is a simple registration with our mail processing software and a selection of the documents you want to receive electronically.
The Green Me program is designed to save Pikes Peak Writers valuable dollars and resources, which can then be re-directed for education and other programs for our members and supporters. The Green Me program is also environmentally sound in that it eliminates the use of resources and energy necessary to print and deliver hundreds of pounds of documents every year.
